Tony Pallota of Runners Connect chats with Matt Phillips about ITB Syndrome.
For those of you who are unaware, as well as working with injured runners in clinic, I am also a writer for Runners Connect and have done so for quite a number of years. Modern technology means I now get the pleasure of having my USA brother Tony Pallota of Runners Connect ask me questions about my monthly articles via webchat whilst I get to sit back in the comfort of my own living room. Nice.
This month’s piece was all about ITB Syndrome, always a fascinating topic given that runners all over the world are STILL regularly told to torture themselves on foam rollers or ‘man up’ whilst overzealous therapists poke their elbows into places that in all honesty probably shouldn’t be poked.
We hope you enjoy this ITB Syndrome Webchat and gain some useful insight. The article itself can be read HERE on Runners Connect, a site that (though I am obviously biased) continues to offer top grade articles, advice, coaching and online courses with input from not just myself but also esteemed folk such as Greg Lehman, Bryan Heiderscheit, Peter Larson, Irene Davis, Jay Dicharry and Dan Lieberman.
