Recorded in January 2015, this Runners Connect Podcast features Tina Muir interviewing Matt Phillips .
Having been a regular writer for Runners Connect for a number of years now, I am obviously biased – but I do have to say that I still find it one of the top online resources for runners of all levels, with great articles, coaching programs, as well as online courses with input from not just myself but also esteemed names in the world of running such as Greg Lehman, Bryan Heiderscheit, Peter Larson, Irene Davis, Jay Dicharry and Dan Lieberman.
In this Runners Connect Podcast (episode 43), I spend just over an hour with Tina chatting about topics such as:
• the importance of a full body gait analysis, as opposed to the ‘gait analysis’ offered in many running stores for prescription of running shoes.
• How heel striking is not necessarily a precursor of running injury.
• The possibilities of a 2:00 marathon and what puts Kenyan and Ethopian athletes ahead of the rest of the world.
I hope you enjoy it!
